Objective truth and religion don't go together though. You can't prove or disprove that God exists or that the Bible or the Quran or the Sutras or the Book of Mormon are true.

And here is the root of his problem, he does have some faith, and at the same time, he does not want to be a Christian. Why being a Christian is such a bad thing for him is something that I don't understand, but I guess he has his reasons.
That would be a fairly bad choice given your doubt regarding the Bible. If it is the word of God, then you end up in the same spot that you don't want to go. I would suggest that you seek some kind of professional help.
If you don't have any faith in the god that the Christians worship, then why don't you have similar feelings about other religions? It is equally possible that they may be true as there is no objective proof out there that they are not. There is a reason for why you have that doubt, without any faith there is no particular reason to focus on the Bible.
We know for a fact Jesus was really crucified
Virtually every scholar agrees Jesus of Nazareth was a real personWe don’t. We do know that L. Ron Hubbard, existed though so clearly Scientology is more likely to be true!

I don't have any faith i acknowledge the possibility that the Bible is the word of God because as far as I can tell there is no objective proof that it's not
Virtually every scholar agrees Jesus of Nazareth was a real person
So are Buddhism, Islam, Mormonism and a few others.Christianity is based on a real person
Our closest source is Josephus several decades later. At best we can say that it is likely that some individual founded the Christian cult, we don’t know for a fact that it was one person or that this person died on the cross.
Our evidence for Hubbard is much greater.
No, our closest source are the letters of Paul. (then probably Acts, then Matthew)
We don't know if Jesus died on the cross, but the likelyhood of him being a real person is very, very high.

The Vatican no longer buys ivory because it's now illegal. If the vatican was buying iron, bronze, marble and ivory regularly would that make it like ancient rome
The Vatican no longer buys ivory because it's now illegal.
Therefore, the Vatican cannot be the Whore of Babylon. Problem solved. By elephants.
The Vatican is a pretty small place full of wealthy churchmen, it would be easy to catch cartloads of illegal ivory being smuggled into it. It's not like China or somewhere, there are rules and people follow them.Just because it's illegal doesn't mean the vatican isn't doing it please just answer my question
Marble. Yes. Iron (including steel)? Yes. Bronze? Yes in small quantities, hardly regular though. Ivory? Definitely not.Does anyone know if the vatican is regularly importing things of bronze iron marble and ivory
