Minimum Wage: We do not believe that the government has the right to regulate how much is paid for a job.
Unemployment: We believe that there is always an opportunity to get a job, and that the unemployed do not belong receiving government aid.
Taxation: We believe that discrimination based on income is wrong in all cases. We support a flat tax rate so that hard work does not go to waste.
Finances: We believe in Free Trade, and are staunch supporters of capitalism.

Unification: We believe that Eutopia MUST be reunited at any cost, as we believe that independent nations in the south are a danger to the survival of the Eutopian state.
Crime/Punishment: We believe in Capital Punishment. All repeat offenders of capital crimes should be executed. (Pedophiles, Murderers, etc.)
Public Access to Weaponry: We believe that all citizens are entitled to the right to ownership of both hunting and protection-type weapons, however, gun manufacturers should be required to provide "Safe" weapons.
Discrimination: We do not believe in "Hate-Crimes" legislation, however, we stand firmly against racial and sexual predjudice, and strict penalties for all violent crimes.
Racial Quotas: We believe that any system of "Racial balancing" is discrimination, and we zealously disagree with quotas.
Sexual Education: We do not believe that sexuality should be taught in schools. Parenting should be left to the parents.
Narcotics: We believe that all illegal drugs should remain illegal, and that foreign dealers should be deported back to their country of origin.

State Religion: We believe in freedom of religion, and that the government should not endorse any specific religion.
State Sponsored Education: We believe that education should be governed and paid for on the provincial level, and not the federal level.
Presidency: We believe the president should be given more authority and should govern the military.
Elections: We believe that presidential elections should be once every five years, and that there should be no term limit for any offices.
Monarchy: We believe that the monarchy is our heritage, and that it is essential in order to increase stability. We support the claim of John, the Duke of Gloriana to the throne of Eutopia.

The UEF is currently neutral on that issue. It will be open for discussion among members when our charter is approved by the CRO. As you can see, Mr. Vilms, we are a fast growing conservative party. We all recognize your work with the RPE, and would certainly take that into consideration should you honor us with membership.
Mr. Austri, as soon as the CRO processes our application, we will begin to hold meetings.

Mr. Napier, I do believe that the PURE party's views on many issues are equal or close to ours, perhaps we should address them?

We should definitely work closely with PURE, as our aims are similar. It's far too early to discuss merger, but not to soon to talk about coaltion. A conservative coaltion of PURE and EUF could sweep in the upcoming elections.
I recommend you reach out to the PURE leadership to discuss coaltion.

I agree completely, but further discussions along this path are best reserved for our private meetings.
But I will say that the party that dominates the first elections will make a mark on Eutopia.

Neither my dear friend Hawkton or Dr. Glasser are likely to join a conservative party, although they would be most welcome. I do think our party and Mr. Tilly's organization (of which I intend to be a member) do share a common goal - the peaceful reunification of the island.
A young skinny man wanders about, listens to the discussions about and then coughs for attention and says:

Comrade, in my opinion these seperatists pose a grave threat to the security of Eutopia. They could invade us, or worse, a world power could invade them and then do the same to us.
Well, they are a constant threat to us. While liberals' radical views of "Peace at all costs" may not fit with it, I believe that they want to break Eutopia apart. They may even bring foreigners into it, such as the Spanish or the French. Even not intentionally, their weakness may allow the world powers to gain a foothold on our island, which we must NOT allow to happen. Then our defensive capability as an island state would be gone, as it is now! You seem to think that if ever some group thinks they should break away, they are free to do so and should not be reprimanded? If that was true, then anarchy would rule, small nations would be unable to support their populace as trade would be a mess. Unification is key to our survival.
