That was certainly an eventful update. Struggling to obtain primogeniture, and then swapping to elective several minutes later. Swearing fealty to the French and embracing their culture. Converting to Catholicism while secretly following the Germanic faith, despite making all your vassal and courtiers actually convert to the religion you don't actually believe in. At least you shouldn't be getting invaded by slightly larger neighbours now.

It seems that joining France is not a completely beneficial decision, especially when the French decide to let you face your former pagan neighbours alone. Silly Catholics.

Sad to see this end, but at least your kingdom didn't collapse or anything.
