Tournaments still not ending

I'm playing as a Tamil Nestorian king of Tamilakam, and my tournaments only end upon ruler death. I think usually it show winners and all before that, but there's no proper end-of-tournament message until the ruler actually dies.

This is happening for me, and with the new patch.

Same here with the 2.1.2 patch. I usually get announcements for the first and second place finishers, but so far nothing for third place and no notification that the tournament has concluded until my ruler dies. In some cases this has been over 20 years since the start of the tournament. Fortunately, after the first few months nobody seemed to be getting maimed by the tournament during those 20 years.

I've encountered this more than once myself, but it always seems to go away when I declare war on someone, at least.

I have been able to reproduce the situation in some regards, by having a short war before the actual event begins. But there might be some other circumstances that could affect this as well. Is this something that is still a problem in the current version (v2.1.4 or beta v2.1.5.1)? If so, is there anything in particular you do or that happens prior, or during, the tournament?
