Total POP confusion

Rich needs are more expensive than poor needs, and early in the game most of their needs are rare and even more expensive than later. But have you checked 1.03b is installed correcly by looking at the number in the top right of the first sceen when you load victoria, though? Sometimes people just pop the rar file in the vic folder or extract it to a random location and call it good

BTW, you might as well set tariffs to 100%, they are not working right and are free money at the moment.

It IS free money, but it WILL increase your POPs con... so it could be the straw that breaks the camel's back if you do not stay ahead on reform

Thanks for the info guys. You were right about checking the version. I thought the 103b patch had installed correctly but it only said version 103 on the intro screen. I unzipped the beta into a temp directory and copied all the files manually and now it says 103b
