Total number of holdings in the game?

Hi guys, is there any way to know the total number of holdings (on the entire map) at any given moment in the game?

I'd really like to know the percentage of the world map I own, because counties don't really reflect that. Conquering Iceland (2 counties) gives you only 4 holdings at best, while for instance Brugge consists of 5 or 6 holdings on its own at the start of the game.

I think it's the number next to the score in the upper right corner of the screen. Realm size or something like that.

That just refers to the player character's demesne. There's also a realm size information in the realm tree (which looks at how many holdings a character and all their subjects hold), but I don't think you can get the information the OP wanted (i.e. my domain versus EVERYTHING) in-game.

You can get that in the ledger, in the 'independent realms' section. Look for 'realm size'.

If you are fine with only knowing the percentage of the counties you own this is pretty easy: The number of the existing counties is fixed.
With all holdings it's more difficult. The "easiest" way might be to sum up all the holdings in the statistics ledger. This might take some time as you would have to add up all the holdings of all the independent realms.
If you really want to know how many holdings there are in a specific savegame you could upload it. I have a little program lying around somewhere which can do that.

i'd personally be intrested in knowing what are the max possible holdings, possibly even divided in castle-city-temple.

but i guess thats not really possible.
