Top Events that should be HOI2DD that Aren't

I think there should be an event that is a direct result of Sudentenland and Beck as the Chief of Staff. Because he got replaced over some arguements about that event. And they have events for Blomberg and Fritsch, so why not Beck?

Also if the Czechs decide not to cede Sudentenland perhaps we have the coup Beck planned with Halder, Witzleben, Brockendorf, Stulpfnagel, Hoeppner, von Helldorf, Hans Gisevius, Oster, Canaris, Hammerstein–Equord, Treskow and Goerdeler.

Problem is, I don't know whether much of a coup was actually planned for the Munich situation. The information that we have was largely generated by a bunch of army staff trying to save their own necks at nuremburg... would it have really worked?

Actually, I'd agree that a Japanese Internement Act would be worthwhile (I believe that prohibitions against ethnic cleansing were directed at a single block of nations---if Stalin can purge and Japan can massacre, USA can intern. It's only the Axis powers who must be whitewashed (through laws in those countries, I believe)

If the UK doesn't liberate India, it loses all cores on those territories and gets dissent in them all. India's starting leadership includes Mohandas Gandhi--who dies and creates another civil war--Pakistan vs India.

Oh yeah, there should be more high dissent results in changes of governments events.

I second the call for Axis vs. Republican Spain war. If the Allies support Spain, it might well join the Allies in 1940 (and try to intervene against disaster in France--which might make a difference). If the Commintern supports Spain and the allies don't, Spain should join the Commintern--who knows how that could turn out...

Most of those people involved in the plot were eventually executed or died mysteriously (Hammerstein–Equord.) Halder survived after being sent to a concentration camp and went on to win the Medal of Freedom. Hardly a man trying to save his neck by lying about the plot. Halder was just nervous and never took the leap and followed through with the plans.

A.Hitler capturing (30% chance of event if Berlin conqured before may 1945) -
by USSR (Hitler placed in Moscow ZOO as an animal -5% SU dessent)

Germany:
19 January 1939 - Germany claimed a section of the continent Antarctica between 20°E and 10°W New Swabia (Neuschwabenland or Neu-Schwabenland). If Germany has 2 sub flotilias in Antarctica there will be a chance of escape for German high command from capturing and suicide events. German ships now can reach New Swabia.

Because it wasn't a act of racial superiority over a "sub-human" ethnic group, it was a military precaution taken by the Japanese. It was more or less trying to take out supposed Nationalist Soldiers dressed up as civilians and if we all remember the Vietnam War...we know how it becomes a bomb waiting to happen.

So Women and children were potential Nationalist soldiers too were they? and in order to "take them out" they had to be raped and tortured for fun did they?

The rape of Nanking was probably the largest single attrocity carried out during WW2 and it had nothing to do with eliminating Chinese soldiers. It was purely an expression of extreme Japanese inhuman brutality toward a people they regarded as being sub-human.

Alright, but the point still is is that Paradox has a reason for the Nanjing massacare to be on there and doesn't even want the slightest bit of the Holocaust mentioned in there. We all could argue politics and such about the event, but Paradox is at the helm and they can state whatever they don't want to see in that game.

You wonder why certain topics have to be banned and then you see threads like these which make it very painfully clear once again. You also have to wonder why people can't stick to the rules concerning not talking about these events. I'm drawing a blank on that one though. Maybe they do want to get banned? Maybe I must try and test that theory next time ...
