@Purpose:
Well, the idea is that some modding parties might take note of some of these events and include some of them in their mod.
Some of these events are in the SMEP mod (Which has my full endorsement):
-Edward does become a PA leader of the UK if the Germans occupy London and the Mideast, and agree to negotiated peace with the UK
-Greek Ultimatium is also included
The Emiken mod (which I find a little less stable) has a chance of Hess' mission acheiving peace with the UK.
For legal reasons, things such as Kristalnacht can't be included in the game. I'll leave it at that.
I've never seen Vlasov defect, and I wonder how CCIP deals with those chinese issues?
More ideas:
--Japan Surrenders when it loses N. Korea, Manchuria, Okinawa and it's hold on China.
--Austria and Romania should have better chances to resist fascist takeovers; they should not be a near certainty. As partial compensation, Belgium (which faced a period of martial law) would have some chance to go Fascist as well.
--Germany should be able to anschluss Austria even if they decline, they'd just take a dissent hit for it.
--Euskadi should declare independence in the SCW
--Germany should not stop gobbling nations if Poland is not their last fight. The Allies guarenteed Poland's existance, but not necessarily their borders. I'd suggest something about a 3 step progression--Danzig/Partial Land Grab/Reduction of Poland to a puppet state (Or Complete Annexation). In all likelihood, the Allies would DoW over this, but if they didn't (Human players might want to wait), I'd think that Lithuania and an unraveling of M-R pact is next.
--Doomsday Scenario needs serious revisions. Maybe an option to create West Germany and Japan against the Soviets? While the Soviets use the power of the Communist party in France and Italy to cause massive dissent in the war (40%)
Also, Nuclear bombs shouldn't cause dissent as they do in this game. The production of consumer goods would not have anything to do with repairing damage, and I'm not sold on the idea that A Bombs actually destroy the entire functionality of an army anyway.
