I've made a custom map and when I load the game, it crash at armoiries loading screen. I have this in the log file under saving events :

  1. à CrusaderKingsStoryGen.EventManager.ConvertReligionTests(ScriptScope node, List`1 toDelete)
  2. à CrusaderKingsStoryGen.EventManager.ConvertReligionTests(ScriptScope node, List`1 toDelete)

What do I need to set to get some good variety in realms? I want some areas to be a bunch of little independent realms, and some areas big countries, but it seems to be for the most part just big countries, even if I set it to low or no stability.

Obstacles help a lot. If you break up the map with mountains, "rivers", and get the occasional uninhabitable desert, it gives you smaller realms more often.

Well, I tried that but it still giving me larger realms. I'm looking for something like the ireland or some of the earlier norse starts in vanilla

Hey, I wonder is it possible to mix some other mods along with this mod? I would like for the mod to generate characters with new religions from "Ancient Religion Reborn".

You can mix graphics and event mods with it? I think, if you integrate them into the main game first, or if they are simple enough to be run along side it.
But for religions and history things, as it replaces rather than adds to all those, it couldnt generate those religions characters? but you could add in those religions and its events after generation, and have a character designer player character bring those religions to the world, or use the console to bring them.

Is there anything in particular that determines troop composition? Thus far feudal kingdoms i've seen seem to largely depend on heavy infantry. It would be interesting if certain cultures/kingdoms were more oriented towards cavalry or archers, but that's only a minor thing really.

  • Mod support - New 'select mods' button in configuration tab, select the mods and mod order, close the panel and when you generate it will use events and decisions from that mod. At this time it won't use religions/cultures/titles and the like, but should otherwise be mostly compatible with them. I've tested CK2+ and HIP and both seem to work with random maps and history, but no guarantees on all functionality of any mod working and it currently only works on non .zipped mods in the paradox mod folder (though non event/decision mods off Steam Workshop will likely work without this process anyway). You'll obviously need to enable the said mods in the game launcher.

This was using a very large map with very large amount of provinces. I'll have to gen another one to see if this was just a fluke.

That looks like if you took the actual Earth continents and smashed them about with a hammer.
