Can it be possible to generate possible de jure empires and such to fill the map? Though it's cool to see the history, it sucks when there's no de jure empires or the only one is currently owned

I'll add that as a future option but getting tech working amd fixing crashes was priority until now. Empires will spawn in in some games, it just depends on what happens in the history. I'll add something to increase their likelihood if people desire, I'm still playing to try and get a good default balance between empires and still plenty of kings.

Not sure I follow?

It creates a .mod file in your mods folder when you click export.

Guess mine didn't work properly then. I'll try testing it again with the new version and see if it works now.

EDIT: Get this error code... probably obvious to anyone else, but I can't figure out what it means.

Gah thanks for letting me know will see if I can figure it out - 99% of generations work fine though in the meantime.
Another seed (2181), another problem - de-jure-kingdom less duchies. Also it would be cool if religions and cultures had different borders than the kingdoms (in the current version all provinces are of the same religion and culture as it's liege). It would add an additional challange, like playing french catholic Jerusalem with some berber sunni provinces.

Can look into that - tho re: de-jure-kingdomless duchies that's working as intended, same as the empires, those have never been part of a kingdom so have never become 'dejure' part of a kingdom. Will add in an option at a later date to generate fake kingdoms and empires above duchies that have never been part of one.

Any idea how you plan to do that? Just fill in the blanks, or find a few empire less kingdoms to fill

Also- in real life did they migrate to North Africa then up through Iberia thus causing east Europe to be tribal? If so, no complaints, but if not then it seems odd that usually all of Western Europe is tribal

I spark off several 'areas of technological advancement' that will randomize where the more technologically advanced areas of the world are. It should be pretty random each seed, though earlier start dates will be very tribal.

Okay. And please, PLEASE, make large kingdoms become empires more. It makes me sad that though there's kingdoms that could very well be empires(all of Scandinavia for example) but arent
