Hi CORE guys and thank you very much. I have enjoyed your mod since HOI 1, when you made the game much more enjoyable than vanilla.
I am playing a GER game in .302, (I just updated to current) and it is Jan. of 43. I destroyed the soviets and looked across the atlantic to my next enemy, the US. They had not landed in Africa or anywhere I could see except in New Guinea, Truk and Saipan. While I applaud their Pacific gains, I was sad to see that they were ignoring me. I want them to attack me ferociously.
So I cheated and did the 'nofog' which told me that they had nothing to threaten me with. No divisions in England or in the Mediterranean. I looked at their army via statistics and saw that they had only 13 INF divisions and a bunch of Res. The same with ENG. They had a pitiful 5 INF and like 40 Res. In fact all the major nations had less than 15 INF, and dozens of Res, little to no MOT or ARM or anything threatening to my 150 INF and 20 ARM. I was so upset that I quit the game, obviously realizing that I had essentially no real enemy left.
Is is the increased IC and MP cost that prevents the AI from building a real army? Can the Allied AI be told to actually fight in Europe?
