Is it possible to have too many vassals? I currently have six vassals and a protectorate. All have attitudes of +80 to +180 towards me (except for one Fanatical Purifier) and seem quite content. What should I do with them?

I could integrate them, but that would cost a lot of influence - 350-450 points each. And then because of the system limits I would just have to turn them into sectors any way. And I become responsible for the cost of their Frontier Outposts. I think the only advantage is that I would get the research.

My Vassals won't band together and attack me like a bunch of Persian satraps will they? Or trade tech to my enemies?

If they're loyal, they probably won't attack you, but I would highly recommend integrating them anyway. If you integrate them, you get a huge boost to your fleet capacity from all the new pops and starports. Your vassal's fleets won't be that useful to you if you don't integrate them, since you can't merge them with your own ships. Anyone at war with your vassal will just be able to pick off all of your vassal's ships while they aren't following your own fleets.
