Ships on trade routes are a nice eyecandies, one thing that I really like Europa Universalis IV, but I see very few of them actually. since they have been added I think it would be nice to note them more often.
To see a more vivid map (especially because in political map mode, many other things not seen)
However there are other things I did not understand, for example if the number of these ships depends (in part or at all) on the actual flow of commerce on the routes.
Also, I saw a Portuguese ship that was said to bring slaves from fernando po, towards the europe. Also I could swear I saw a solitary Inca ship in a trade route to North America.
however, I would like to see a coming and going of small ships and caravans, in the most vital routes.
