I'm sure this has been discussed before, however I did not find the thread, I looked I swear.
Is there a way to disallow the transport of troops by naval transport when an alternative land route is available for AI? This happens frequently if you have a large home front as Germany through the English Channel resulting in the AI feeding your troops into the royal navy. I suspect having smaller more focused units would avoid this, or not using AI.
So yeah thanks in advance.
Some examples could be, troops moving from Brest to Amsterdam, instead of over land they move by sea into a long drawn out but completely avoidable death.
This happens if you have the same front for Ireland and England if you haven't cleared that island off Wales as well.
