It's one of the three DLCs that those who had purchased it will get, yes.This DLC, I hope is free for those who got the Field Marshall version... Anyhow, this is a good expansion for availability.

Hmm the game is still broken and yet we have to pay for an expansion already. Which seems to me doesnt add much at all.

If you have the field marshal edition, you have the expansion pass. Having the expansion pass is like owning the first 3 expansions already. They will be "magically" added to your Steam library on release.

Canada was a British dominion in WW1, I believe Australia and New Zealand were dominions in WW2, so is the Raj. I may be wrong, but they sure as hell existed!!Dominions? Dominions?

Did we, as Field Marshal Edition owners, buy the whole pack including 2 or 3 expansions ? I recall 2. Am I right that this one is actually for free ?
I say, because as one of the Field Marshal Edition guys, I really don't care about this first one (playing very rarely United Kingdom). I mostly would like - apart from a working AI of course - to get an "Air Operations" and a "Spies at work" expansions. At least something that isn't dependant on what you like to play as country.

Yeah, they expanded it to three. I think it was because this first DLC (this one) ended up being a bit smaller than they wanted, so they added one more to the pass.

I'd love to know if Ireland will be getting fleshed out. I know it was neutral in the war but there are lots of interesting alternate histories that could have happened like the fascist blue-shirt movement, the old IRA trying to co-ordinate with Germany or Ireland stabbing Britain in the back to get Northern Ireland. Also Ireland was technically in the commonwealth until 1949 so shouldn't they have been included in the dlc?

Pretty underwhelming content in the announcement, will still check dev diaries just in case but this seems to be the kind of "pick when 75% off" DLC.

Yeah, the expansion pass was extended to cover 3 expansions instead of the initial two. The next two are still planned to be as big as was intended.
