I'm posting late. No acknowledgement at all?
Shame on all of you.
A lot of us aren't American, to a lot of us it was a small part of a huge war and other than bringing the US into the war, it wasn't 'that' big of an event compared many other events, battles and loss of lives that happened in the war.
Also, most people acknowledge the day the war ended, are there any countries other than the US that acknowledge/celebrate the day they decided to join WW2?
I'm not being a dick, Pearl harbour is overly spot-lighted because it was an attack on the US and it brought them into the war, Pearl harbour casualties was ~4,000 and to me it's sad that such light is put on it compared to how many lives were lost in other areas.
Everyone is welcome to grieve and remember how they see fit but do not 'shame' people for not making a post about such an event when others with 1,000x more casulalties aren't. So shame on us? No, shame on you for your lack of perspective.
