appeareny in population screen you can click on the one pop growing and it allows you to pin growth to an certain species with some growth penalty. Did someone know about this?

However I must admit the xenophillic growth in this version is weird.I toke down an fanatic Purifier early in the game and now this species become an refuge and spread out the world. It isthe ruler of several large nation now.

Good job purifying galactic rats.

Hover over the picture and it will tell you why you can't click.
Probably because you have population control disabled.

AFAIK you need to have the population controls policy set to allowed for this to work.
