Really nice AAR.

read it thru fully, and my biggest concerns about AI is that it does not leave sufficent reserve manpower for replenishments (replacing dead soldiers from units).

Also it was lil funny to see gazillions of destroyers from AI as it would of needed more heavy ships then small ones. Like CV x 20 instead of destroyers x 100. Or 10 CVs , 10 BBs , 20 Light Cruisers instead of 100 destroyers etc.

Also the mega stacks are really not so funny, London units if dispersed to whole england would of easily countered any landings or para drops. (big minus to AI developers in this game).

but all in all, really nice AAR, really nice.

Incredible AAR! I read it all in one Huge sitting, it took me from 9:28PM-12:38AM! Absolutely amazing, perhaps one could reveal stage 5 in honour of my dedication to his divine imperial majesty emperor Showa/Hirohito and his brilliant lackey Tojo! more, more, more! An Idea for the next AAR which i am suprised no one has suggested, I would Know! To The Last Man III-A 1936 Ethiopian AAR! No one say this is impossible as I have done it! or at least taken all italian colonies, have no navy so......but youll have one, surely Ianclatcher as Haile sellassie I of ethiopia will be great! Send those ethiopian militias marching all the way to venice! anyway incredible AAR! I read the first installment as well but the super pockets in this one were incredible! If south africa and el salvador were that crowded with militia I cant wait for the mountains of Bolivia! This has become my new favorite all time aar, no offense to myth, But the Guanxi Attempt at world domination has now been surpassed! hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....................hakharkhakptuh (I forgot to breathe for a while..........)

I know that :p
I was just interested if Ian thinks his divisions only consist of japanese or a hell of a lot nationalities.

I consider them all simply as tools of the Emperor

All hail the Tenno ! All hail Nippon! All hail the Emperor of Terra/ Chikyuu!

Seriously , you outnumber them four to one already , in all probability. By the way , do you plan on diverting some troops to Latin America and bring one more whole continent under your control ?

The US army outnumbers the Japanese army!

I maybe gonna start a swedish AAR, and take on the might of the Sovjet union....

Ha ha...good luck with that!

I just hope Ian is going to finish this AAR before being carried away by 1.4

Have been busy enjoying the spring sun here on lovely Crete. And I have been doing a little playtesting of 1.4 of course. But I will make up for it over the next few days...

I'm guessing you didn't track losses in the USA assault, similar to the Soviet pocket losses. It would be interesting how many millions are crushed when the Japanese finally eliminate USA resistance. Then again, there is a possibility the USA surrenders before their army is wiped out.

Tojo calls time on the temporary advance

In the first week of November Tojo called a halt to the temporary advance in north east America.US forces had grown considerably making any further progress impossible.Stage 4 of Senmetsu had been an overwhelming success;all objectives had been accomplished and even Canada had surrendered. It was time to pull back the troops to the line on the St John river and begin preparations for stage 5.

This promises to be even better than dropping an A-Bomb. Probably the assault on the most massive scale ever witnesse din AARland. Once again you prove to be the Megalomanic we all love to read from.

I keep my fingers crossed for Senmetsu to succeed.

While I understand that paradrops are the only way to defeat the Americans, I can't help but feel it has become an exploit. A one without you wouldn't have won the Russians in the first place. Dig in, destroy organization with bombings and then cut off with massive paradrops.

It's been fun to observe how you have won your AAR:s partially because of bugs or glitches: first the manpower bug and now the AI:s inability to reinforce it's troops and keep a stategic reserve. Although of course I regognise a good player when I see one. I probably would have failed before you took on the Russians.

Still, I'm going to follow to the Americans bitter end!
