Something similar happened to my German GC'36 game after the Bitter Peace. I was still at war with two of the four minors in the Comintern, but at peace with the Soviets and its two puppets.

Good job so far. The Polish forces may not survive long though - they should be out of the SU supply network, and stuck without new supplies as they have no connections to any ports.

Even the lowly Poles are throwing armored and motorized divisions at you? Not good news... Looks like the situation is getting critical: you're somewhat bogged down in India, the Americans keep taking Pacific islands away from you, the Russian threat is growing by the day and their Polish lackeys are already rehearsing the invasion.

Something (preferably the British) will have to give soon, otherwise your slender resources won't be up to the task of a three-front war.

Either way, future developments should be fun to watch. :)

April 1946

In early April two Japanese infantry divisions and one cavalry division were redeployed in Manchukuo to counter the Polish invasion.

and it's decreasing, I guess :(

Otherwise, that buldge in southern India could become a nice trap for the British troops around, combined with a sea blockade.

Or you could form an even bigger caldraun by landing in the port further to the west and trapping everything between that port and your troops further east.

Yes, 5 manpower is grim, luckily it was the end of the month! Some months it has been 0 for the last couple of days. Its like a monthly paycheck.
The situation in India should look a bit clearer after the May update, which is imminent...

India,mid-May

By the middle of May Japanese troops in India were sufficiently strong enough to attack the city of Bombay again. In the north of India fresh supplies enabled infantry divisions to advance in several areas against severely weakened British forces.

The Battle Of Washu Ridge

On the 29th May Yamamoto's carrier fleet patrolling south of Marcus Island came into contact with a US fleet. The US fleet led by the battleship the USS New Jersey was without carrier support and was therefore vulnerable to Ozawa's aircraft.

Their center seems shattered anyway, no units opposing the IJA advance in the middle of the frontline. I wonder what will be next on the IJA's agenda? It'd probably be advisable to sit back for a month or two, allowing the Japanese forces to reorganize, resupply and regain their strength.

On the other hand, Persia and Afghanistan are tempting targets. Or rather would be if you had a lot more divisions to field against the Communist menace.

Yes,as soon as the job is finished in India there will be some long-term strategic planning. As soon as Tojo prioritizes his objectives I will of course post them.I think Persia and Afghanistan will be safe for a while though!

Tojo might want to defeat the other nations who dare to enter the Pacific and threaten the Japanese sphere of prosperity, ie the USA and Russia.

Congratulations. Bombay was a hard nut to crack but in the end, the defenders had to yield. Now I wonder how long it will take you to destroy the remnants of the British forces.

The oddity of the Polish-Japanese war shall be remembered for as long as ... well ... it takes you to wipe Poland off of the world map ... again. :D

The Soviet troops following the Polish and preventing you from reconquering the provinces are bad new. Though it would have been much worse news, if the Soviets would have followed their faithful allies to war.
