OK, this is the thread for the AAR which will be played with a mod Forum Universalis.

But what is this "Forum Universalis", you ask. Forum Univeesalis is the mod for EU4 made by Todenpuhuja (who also made Bellum Omnium Contra Omnes, if you understand) which allows you to create your own country, which starts with 1 province and 1 colonist. You can make anything you want (as long as it isn't from the sphere of government forms, religions etc. However, custom cultures are allowed to be made), and the only thing which is required is province. For now, there are 71 (if I don't mistake) countries, and you may request for yours in any time. Here's a link to go and try it.

Prologue.
​

The world in the beginning of 1420 was pretty empty. Noone could say why it was so. May be wars have devastated all the planet, may be the Black Death was too deadly. This situation is going to be discussed by historians for a very long time. However, it wasn't really important for those, who survived. The situation wasn't so hopeless because people started to form the new states, which could someday rise into the empires.

One of those states was Griffinland. Griffinland was created by an initiative heir of the house of Griffins who was called Elliott in 1417. Rulers from that dynasty were the rulers of the province of Highlands, in the north-west of Scotland. Elliott entitled himself the Duke of Griffinland. Firstly, the duke was the one and the only ruler of the country. But after a short revolt in 1419 Elliott V was forced to adopt the government form known as English Monarchy. With it, the country was ruled by Duke, but there was also a parliament which had a great role in governing. Elliott himself was a decent administrator and a good general, but was really incompetent in diplomacy.

A year later, a daughter who was called Mavis was born. There was a great celebration all across the country.

By the end of 1419, Elliott started to think about the further plans. He found out that the men of Griffinland had really adventurous nature and really wanted to search for new land for themsselves. Also, the wood was traditionally cheap, and so, the ships were cheaper than usual.

So, it was January, 1, 1420. The age of new empires started.

P.s. Point me out to mistakes, please. I'm new in this kind of writing.
