With two years to wait on the peace treaty with Spain the Netherlands would be the ones to suffer invasion for their singular North American holding. This would make Savoy upset as they were Emperor and the Netherlands were part of the Empire but the King cared not. He wanted that land. Savoy would take over the war effort which was a mistake on their part as the King had tens of thousands of soldiers on hand to step into their lands. New field howitzers would ensure Scandinavian triumph. Silesia would end up annexed before the end of the war with Savoy made to give up some Swiss lands as part of the treaty.
Following the end of the war the invention of the Turnip would revolutionize the agricultural world. It was time to prepare to deal with Spain now. And so in 1817 the war for Spain’s North American holdings would begin. While the war raged Switzerland would be integrated into the nation. A swift war taking a year but seeing all of North America now in Scandinavian hands. The only hands that could properly manage it.
The following years would see Tyrone become part of Scandinavia. The freed islands becoming a vassal of the powerful state as well. Complete dominance of the North American trade gave new ideas in how to control international goods flows to the merchants of Scandinavia.
The years would see the rest of the vassals and unions under Scandinavia pass on. Bringing Lithuania into the fold gave a huge barrier to Russian expansion in Europe as well as a great host of lands which were not yet Catholic. Scandinavia would remain the dominant world power going into the new industrial world of the 1800s.

I didn't colonize all of north America though. There were a few territories beyond my reach. However at least I eventually made it all blue. Thanks for reading.
I recommend Qara Qoyonlu (or Aq Qoyonlu for extra starting challenge) to Persia. You get to be a horde for the fun part, and a nation formation that removes it when it's not fun anymore being behind. Conquest (Onward to India), Great Foes (Russia, Ottomans) and Unique religion (Shiisme) for the win.

Currently I have a Mamluks game going so already have one in that region sadly.
Thanks. It was probably my most Europe successful game. Certainly I did better in the colonizing game and in mainland Europe than my Spain game managed. All part of learning I suppose.

Yeah I admit I post a lot. I enjoy playing the game and writing so it becomes hard to just not churn them out. I am dabbling with a few ideas. I do have my CK2 are slowly going, my Mamluk game is going strong. I could do another EU4 though maybe..I hear the Austrians can be fun.

Yeah getting those three nations united is a big power boost in the early game. I can only assume Denmark would have a faster time of it.
