Glad to see Jennings in the picture, the perennial candidate actually won (well, not really) but at least got the office. I think the Spanish will yield in a matter of time- a lightning campaign to Madrid would probably really quicken things up.

Nice work on the Phillipines.

Anyway, I hope you don't invade Spain but you could intervene in Spain's African affairs or create some kind of "Great War" later on.....? That'd be fun and gradually convert it to Doomsday.
Keep it realistic, though. That is why is making this AAR even more fun. You could try to involve yourself with China when/if the Boxer Rebellion comes.
Also, nice work with Jennings! Certainly is going to have an impact on the future, though.....
Please say you're joking.(Praetorian) said:So thats where Booker T, the wrestler's name originiates from.

You're definitely not alone, none of my friends knew who he was either. I was slightly insulted when I found out a "professional" wrestler was named after the guy.
As for the realistic aspect of the aar, I think you doing a great job. But a fair number of people from the Southern states wanted to annex all of Mexico. I think it's OK to take a few more bites out of Mexico. The setup for such a conflict should be reasonable, but I don't think it would be absurd.
JimboIX said:I think the alliance system would have to be different, particularly given the changes in relationships the powers have had as a consequence of the CSA's existence. Jettison the Phillipines ASAP, they're going to be more profitable as a puppet.

Ksim3000 said:It'd be interested if these Liberal reforms of Jennings do take a backstep and either a Socialist riot breaks out or some form of Fascist or Nationalist government takes power. But still, also it is interesting to see the CSA go Liberal and treat it's black populace with respect.
I definately look forward to seeing how this "Great War" turns out......
