Well i took England, and just formed the UK. I find it too easy to raise prestige, i just make more and more festivals. It's an exploit in my openion seince i use Spies to sow discontent in countries iam at war with. Is this intendet?.

I'm not sure what you mean in the last part, but the festivals decision is bugged and always gives the +5 prestiege, it should only have a 45% chance.

actually, festival aside, it does seem too easy to get your prestige up...

or, more significantly, too easy to Keep it up. well,in the one game i've played so far... permanent %100 of prestige without me having to take any action before 1600 is a bit out there. Cultural tradition also seems like it should be harder to keep topped up.

of course, i was playing as burgundy and hereditary emperor of the HRE by that point. [the game spazed out, decided I'd lost, then crashed when i tried to take the HRE from vassals to a single country though... though it Did unify it just before that.]

I have to say that I agree on this point, while I love the addition of the culture system to get new advisors it does seem like it is too easy to keep culture high. Considering how long advisors live it is easy to keep three 5-6 star advisors at all times. Maybe they could make culture go down when you gain non-core provinces?

Good idea, also a hefty culture hit every time DOW someone, and make it harder for larger countries to get high culture.

I really like the ideas of the new features in the expansion, but they all seem to suffer from lack of testing in development. HRE control and Cultural Tradition are both way too easy. Especially the former should be VERY hard.

Personally, I think there should be ways to get the imperial reforms reversed - for example, it could reverse one step automatically if a new emperor takes office with low authority or low prestige. The Empire losing centralisation under weak emperors seems quite reasonable to me. Historically, the HRE did actually become more decentralised over time rather than more centralised.

All this said, however, let me mention two things that really work well in HTTT:

- The extra AI manpower on Very Hard difficulty. This makes the game a lot tougher.
- The relative lack of super-blobbing, probably due to the new peace and CB system.
