I'm playing Scandinavia, it's 1583. I have colonised the entire North American coastline from Canada to northern Mexico and am working inland. I recently seized Chicksaw from one of the natives, the sole North American COT. That thing however, is A: landlocked, and B: won't core for another 45 years. my whole North American land trades through it. however, I do seem to be trying to monopolize it at the moment, got 5 people in there and a 6th underway.
In various other CT I had monopolies and I'veb een drawing a lot of money from it. This recently dropped because I staretd taking out the North American tribes, incurring infamy. However, I am pretty sure that will fix itself once it drops again.
The question at hand is now: should I just sit tight till Chicksaw cores, or would it be better to build a fresh COT in, for example, Manhattan (coastal and on the brink of coring)? Is there a real advantage to building a new one on the coast (other than the colonist bonus etc) because it's closer to Europe? Or would it be wiser to just leave it the way it is.
It's not that I'm desperate for money, I'm practicalyl swimming in the stuff, just curious.
