To celebrate the release of Common Sense, the EU4 Wiki is running a contest with prizes worth €1250

To celebrate, and get the wiki updated for the expansion, the wiki is running a contest.

Users can enter the contest by contributing to the wiki during that time span. Various actions give raffle tickets; the more tickets one amassed, the more likely one is to win. The top three contributors will be guaranteed prizes (see below).

Further winners will be selected using a random number generator. A single entrant cannot win more than one prize in the raffle. The prizes will be drawn in the order listed below. An entrant's chance of winning is proportional to the number of tickets they've obtained. The top three contributors by number of tickets will not be entered in the raffle.

In total, 15 copies of Crusader Kings II (CKII), 15 copies of Hearts of Iron III Collection (HoI3), and a copy of Victoria II will be awarded as prizes. The CKII and HoI3 Collection prizes will be paired together.

• The #1 contributor will receive 3 CKII/HoI3 pairs and a copy of Victoria II
• The #2 contributor will receive 2 CKII/HoI3 pairs
• The #3 contributor will receive 1 CKII/HoI3 pair
• 9 CKII/HoI3 pairs will be individually raffled off

A very solid start this time around. 27 pages have already been updated for 1.12, and 9 new ones created.
54 tickets have already been handed out.
In comparison, when the previous competition had run for about as long, 18 tickets had been handed out, and 16 pages were considered up to date.

Hopefully, like last time, the end result will be almost every page on the wiki being up to date by the end of the contest.

Two days in, and 89 pages are now up to date, about 20 of which are new. Still another 362 pages that need to be updated, but there's still 8 days left of the contest.
189 tickets have been handed out so far, somewhat less than the 250 which had been handed out by this time last contest.
Quite a few more pages were up to date at this point last time as well; 273 in total. The biggest difference is probably that Mapleyy and TheWinner don't seem to be participating this time; the two of them were by far the most prolific page version verifiers and updaters last time.

Still though, going strong, and lots of people participating. 34 people have received tickets so far, compared to 18 at this point in time last time.
It is looking likely that more people in total will participate this time than last, as last time only 45 participated in total, and with 8 days left to go, more than 11 more people entering seems likely.

The contest has ended. I'd like to thank everyone that participated, and congratulate the winners.

Three users won based on having the most tickets:

Nine users each won a CKII/HoI3 pair in the raffle:

All told 413 tickets were given out across 60 users. This is the most participants we've ever had (last contest had 45), though not as many tickets were given out as in the past two contests (950 and 554 respectively).
This is likely in part due to us not having a voucher or "pick a game for €15" as the top prize this time as Paradox could not provide vouchers for the contest.
The previous competition was also abnormal in having two extremely active contestants who combined earned 673 tickets.

217 pages are now up to date for 1.12, which is comparable to what was achieved in the contest held when Art of War was released.
Overall I'd consider the contest successful, but not as successful as it could have been.
