To whomever interested in improving the game in a historical direction, I have some suggestions to do, concerning my country Greece.
First of all I have the correct names for all the divisions in the game (they are not “translated” correctly from English to greeklish) plus some very good photographs of the greek forces of that time should anyone care to make a small “graphics” improvement to the game.
Other than that I have a proposed list of events which I think will make the game more interested for someone who chooses playing Greece. (if anybody does it anyway

One thing that is not correctly depicted in doomsday according to my humble opinion is the political diversion that led to a bloody civil war between 1944-1949. What I do here is propose a chain of events similar to the Spanish Civil War spirit that will help the game being more interesting, not siding with one side or the other.
ITALY CAPITULATES
WHEN the italy surrenders and if Greece is not liberated (eg. There is no Greece) for the german player there should be the following event available.
Historical Text (main point) Without the Italian forces in Greece things will go much more difficult for us to occupy it. Should we turn on the local sympathizers?
A)Yes we need every man we can get.
Germany loses 200$ and 300 supplies. 1 Militia division (type II) named “Tagmata Asfaleias” (security battalions) becomes available for redeployment. All greek provinces increase their partisan activity by 10%
B)No this is too dangerous, we will manage it by ourselves
All greek provinces increase their partisan activity by 5%
C)The Bulgarians will be a fine replacement!
All parts of Greece except the islands, Athens, patra, corinthe that germany posseses are given to Bulgaria. All greek provinces increase their partisan activity by 15%
D)Perhaps a puppet government would be best. Additionally we should get some volunteers!
Greece is liberated as a puppet of germany. Germany receives 1 infantry division (model 1936) named “Ellhnikh legeona ethelonton” (greek volunteers legion). The newly founded greek state will only get an infantry division (model 1918) named “Tagmate Asfaleias”

Initially Greece will be liberated in the synthesis that has in 1945 doomsday but after a month this event will occur. Alternatively this event will occur if Greece was a puppet state of germany that has just been defeated. It should also happen to the greek player of that has managed somehow to survive independent until the summer of 1944.
Historical text (main point) The greek government is favoured by the british but the veteran partisans belong are leftists. The civil war is ready to begin!
A)We will side with the allies!
Greece gets whatever forces it has in doomsday. Greece joins the allies if it hasn’t done it already. There is a dissent hit of 35% and a revolt in Athens. If germany is not yet defeated Britain gains a mountain division (type 1943) named “Ellhniko Soma Ethelonton”.
B)We will help the allies mostly but we should avoid a military alliance.
Greece enters a non-agression pact with all allied countries and gives military access to Britain. It however leaves the allies. There is a dissent hit of 30% If germany Is not yet defeated Britain will receive an additional infantry division this time (type 1943) named “Ellhniko Soma Ethelonton”. Greece makes 2 steps toward isolationalisn. 1 towards dove lobby 1 towards democratic 1 towards open society.
C)Our people are divided. We will remain neutral so that no more greek blood is spoiled.

Additionally SU gains military access on Greece and 1 Mountain Division (model 1943) named “Ellhnikh oreinh taxiarchia” and 1 infantry division (model 1943) named “Ellhniko soma ethelonton”. Greece makes 1 steps toward isolationalisn, 2 towards political left, 1 towards dove lobby 2 towards democratic and 2 towards open society. There is also a 30% dissent hit . The soviets offer 2000 supplies and 1500 energy as a gift and increase the infrastructure in Athens and thessaloniki by 10%
E)Greece should be part of the soviet union!
Greece leaves the allies and enters the commintern. There is a 30% dissent hit. Greece makes 4 steps towards political left, 3 towards draft army and 3 towards central planning. Greece receives 2000 supplies and energy, 1000 metal, 750 rare materials and 500 oil from the soviet union as a gift. All greek coasts earn a coastal fort to prevent the future allied landings. Athens gains a navalbase level, an airbase level, reaches 100% infrastructure and also gets 2 A/A facilities. Greece earns a tank and a motorized division of the latest type.

World War III breaks out [and we are so close to the front, event for the greek player when the commintern enters war with the allies]
Historical text Another storm is in front of us… Do we have the courage to enter another war?

The greek islands are taken over by the USA whilst Salonika and Kavala are “gifted” to the SU. Greece enters a non-agression pact with both sides and tries to surivive the revolt in Athens combined with a 40% dissent hit. (total chaos)
C)We would better surrender by ourselves than let them force it upon us.
Greece is made a puppet of the SU if it is allied with USA or a puppet of Britain if it was allied with SU.
