Is the USA invincible in this game? I realize Syntass beat them in his USSR AAR, but he was facing a normal computer AI I believe...a skilled human player, or even a fairly newbie player with basic skills should be able to beat the hell out of anyone in 1936 by the economic calculations...three time the manpower as the closest rival...highest coal, oil by far, rubber, IC in the game...large navy...remote locations in comparison to most others...this seems a bit over amplified to the USA don't others agree? I mean, did the US have 365 manpower compared to 135 USSR? Quite frankly, that number alone confuses me...I know they were an economic powerhouse, but have more men available than the next three countries combined? Someone tell me please how this works out...

That number is just the manpower replenishment rate. As in, it only matters until you run out of active manpower (which is very hard to do). If you check the 1936 comparison chart by Cast, it shows you the initial manpower poll each nation starts with.
