- I'd be lovely to have the ability to increase the game simulation speed.
- I'd love to have a general view of the map without having the districts description cards covering them, so, once I explored every neighborhood, I can easily check where the enemy bosses are and how the city's territory is distributed. Right now I have to use the exit menu because It obstructs the view way less.
- The ability to pause the game and instant teleport to your enemy rackets (especially to safehouses) is beyond broken thus making war and diplomacy mechanics absolutly pointless. However, not being able to teleport at all or imposing a heavy restricted travel system would make the game tedious and disengaging (at the current state of the game, no teleport would make it another Read Dead Redeption 2 -by that I mean a game where you are 80 % of time commuting 20 % actually playing-).
- The AI is too damn passive and tends to not expand much. It would be nice to have an enemy "final" boss you have to defeat in order to finally achieve city controll. One solution could be, like some other strategy games (EUIV or stellaris come to my mind), allowing the AI to start the game in a more advanced or superior position always at player discretion (for exemple starting in controll of 1 or 2 districts). On the other side, in the current game version, the problem with a more ambitious AI is obvious: As beating the AI is too easy you would have the other gangs working for you as mercenaries or land devouring puppets, waiting for the bosses to be fed enough (i.e with enough rackets under controll) so you can blitz attacket them to expand at speed light.
- Economics are a bit odd. I haven't done all the calculations, but I think the most efficient way to make cash is wholesaling booze directlly to minor factions instead of retaling it in your rackets. That is due to the fact that they are endless money printing machines. As I said, i haven't done proper calculations with all the differnt modifiers and all of that, but in base numbers a fully production uprgaded destillery cost you 74k and gives you 3.2K per week (64 bottles of whiskey, 50 $ dollars each). To match this profitabilty the spending per client in your speakeasies, brothels and casinos (that fully production uprgaded costs you 54k) should be at least 9.34 $. This number is easy to get in casinsos, but I'm not sure if they are realiable enough, and pretty hard to get in your brothels, a litlle bit easier in speakeasy, but still hard (you need all the bonuses that district synergies, prosperity, hooch preference, specifc district modifiers and gangster/boss traits give you).
- For good's sake, in wars (when I force myself to not abuse the broken teleport mechanic) I don't want to manually defend every racket. Low level minion battles are too freaking boring!
- In street battles, sometimes enemies appear the hell away from me (generally at the opposite corner of the map or behind a building) , do no let that happen please! I have to waste 3 - 6 turns only watching how my peapole move around and It feels terribly exasperating.
- In battles, could we have a quick turn mode, where actions are instantious or at least have faster animations. I know there is a group of people that worked hard on them and I appreciate their work, but in my 20th battle of the session I simply don't want to see the full travel of a guy just going from point A to point B anymore.
- Could we have a diplomacy interface where I don't have to roll over every faction to find the one I'm looking for? Give me a list where I can click, It would be faster in the long run.
- Other quality of life improvments are: change your already own rackets names, choose your starting neighbourhood and create your own criminal organisation or at least allow some degree of customization.
