This weekend he is most porbably on "paintball trip", but we can finish our previus game, I think there is still a chance for Axis.

Okay so how do we play if there are 5 players:
Allies - Russia and USA?
Axis - Germany, Italy and Japan
There must be some house rules otherwise the UK will get trounced before either the russians or the americans can get involved.
My suggestions are:
1) No attacks on mainland UK.
2) Italy cant attack India untill USA is at war
3) Japan can only join axis/attack UK after the USA enters war.
4) Limit tech sharing with axis minors - i.e no doctrines as these could be passed to other axis members
5) No nukes
6) No unhistorical attacks by axis nor allies (i.e no attack on South america)
7) No war prior to 1938
Start in 1936 - or maybe 39? anything else?

well, it doesn't look like we will be getting 5 players this weekend anyway, unless Halibutt can play.
I think Blum will be able to make it. I talked to him yesterday. Abnout Mithels I just saw the same "bug" is still there - Improved tanks require Armour spearhead doctrine. I dont want the same thing to happen - ie that the germans will have advanced whislt the russians still will be with basic 70s...

EDIT I talked to Blum and he said he can play Saturday 16:00 with Mithels mod. He is in Russia right now but should have a chance to give the mod a go..

What's wrong with Japan slaughtering allies in Asia, damned? I know the answer: Too much IC for Axis, but whichever bloody side I play (I played only one) it's always too much. I don't like that. Explain.

we try to play the game as historical as possible up to mid 1938. After that you an pretty much do anything u want (well maybe
). I think all of us prefer to play such games.F

As to the place hmm well it will have to be our house I guess...too bad.
Vanilla / Starfire - I dont really care as long as we play although I prefer starfire as its more realistic IMHO.

I would prefer not to play starfire, first of all i don't know conpletely nothing about the changes Michel has made, i won't have even a time to check it till weekend, but it will be too late i sopose.
Second. Japan should be free of all moves, we don't know when the election time will be so there is stiil a chance (big) that till 1940 Japan will be just an ordinary Democracy instead of Autocraty. So it's kind of gamble here, as well as with German Annexation of Austria or Sudetenland. The only restriction that i might sugest is forbid Axis to attack European England, or to allowed USA giving England techs from begining of the game.
