I formed the Kingdom of Jerusalem, which was titular due to long prior occupation by the Caliphate. Now apparently my vassals are voting for succession, but I can't see who is nominated or vote. Any insight on how to get votes in a titular title succession?

As the title holder, you should get a vote in the matter. And for a titular title, your vassals shouldn't get any vote...what's happening to you is kind of weird, really.

My suggestion? Edit your save to make the relevant lands a de jure part of the Kingdom of Jerusalem again, problem solved. It's not unrealistic (how can anything drift out of a title that has never existed in the first place?) and doesn't affect balance, because both you and the Muslims will probably prefer to wage holy wars over de jure wars anyway.

I tried destroying it and recreating it. No use. Also creating the Empire of Britania no effect.

Editing a save game file sounds a bit complicated, but I may give it a go.

What's your primary title? If you hold a normal and a titular kingdom the votes for the normal one count for the titular one, too. Basically the person who gets the normal kingdom gets the titular one as well.

It's pretty easy to change the de jure structure. Search for the relevant duchies (d_ascalon, d_galilee, d_jerusalem, d_oultrejourdain) first, using the search term d_duchyname=. You add the equals sign at the end so that you find the actual region, instead of a character's claims, held titles, etc. Scroll down until you reach the part where it says de_jure_liege="k_randomkingdomname", which should be right after the history section. Replace whatever it says there with de_jure_liege="k_jerusalem", repeat for the other duchies, and you're good to go!

Note that Notepad may crash when opening a text file as large as the CK2 save files, so I recommend you use a different text editor, such as Notepad++.

I noticed something a bit deeper when I looked at it. It seems that I can only set succession nomination for max 3 kingdoms. I currently have Ireland, Brittany, Aquataine, France, & Jerusalem. When I create the kingdome of Mali, I get a pop up to set its successor, but after I do that I can't access it in the normal menu.

Is the design intention that we are limited to 3 King titles, in which case I have some cleaning up to do, or is this a bug? Can others set elective succession for more than 3 king titles? Thanks for the help. The forums have been awsome.

Not to nit-pick, but I don't think this is how it works anymore. IIRC, a few patches ago the devs made it so that all dukes within a titular realm that has elective get a vote. I'm a bit confused by your situation, though, OP. I think a key piece of information I'd need to know is are you using any mods?
