title through marriage

Still confused by all the title and inheritances:
As queen of Sicily, I matrilinearly married the king of Hungary, and our son is heir to both. I'm now listed as Queen of Hungary, too, but does this title give me any power in Hungary, or is it just an empty title?

in this case it doesn't give you any power. the spouse of the ruler traditionally has the gender appropriate form of their title as a "ruler consort" title (for example the wife of a king gets a "queen" title). but those ruler consort titles only produces some monthly prestige and maybe a small salary or something, but no power over the realm of their spouse.
