Title passing from realm

If one of my vassals' heir is a courtier/commander of anoter realm, does he become my vasall?

only if he inherits a title of the same rank.
For instance a count will stay your vassal count if he inherits a county of another country, however if he inherits a duchy he will leave your realm.

Same or higher rank. So if a vassal duke of yours inherits a county, he will also stay your vassal, but if he inherits a kingdom, he is gone.

So my county is safe from leaving my realm? My vassals heir becomes my vassal as he doesn't hold any other title, just a plain courtier who is a commander.

Weil I wouldnt be sure on that, if he is heir to two counties and he inherits the title which is outside of your realm first, you will lose the other county upon succsession.
