BTW, the Jewish stars has six arms, while the Muslim stars has five.Originally posted by Mormegil
I know it should be there, thought it looks like the Jewish star...
But, as I said, I know it's historical.
Just right-click on the new symbols in my post and use "Save Picture As..." to get it on your hard drive.Originally posted by Angelos

Weren't the Incas sun-worshippers? I remember in the alternate history novel the Wheel of If they are definitely sun-worshippers; it's a pivotal point in the plot. Not that that alone is evidence toward it, but I assumed he was stealing from history rather than making up his own deities...
As in other pre-Columbian religions, Incan gods and goddesses actually represented a number of shifting and overlapping divine powers.
The upper pantheon contained a creator-sky-weather complex with three principal components: Viracocha, the creator; Inti, the sun god and ancestor of the ruling dynasty; and Illapa, the thunder or weather god. The most important female supernaturals were Pachamama, the earth; Mamacocha, the sea; and Mamaquilla, the moon.
The core of Incan religion was ancestor worship.
Ancestors were venerated as protective spirits, and the bodies and tombs of the dead were treated as sacred objects.
Many other important huacas were also explicitly identified with the ancestors. For example, some of the most important shrines around Cusco were believed to be the petrified forebears of the Incas. The bodies of dead rulers were among the holiest huacas in the Inca realm. As sons of Inti and embodiments of Illapa, the mummies of past rulers were the direct, visible links between the Incas and their pantheon. Maintaining these links, and through them the proper order of the universe, required perpetual care of the royal mummies.
Mmmh, good idea, that should be doable, i will see what I can do...Originally posted by C.N.
How about turning the Yin-Yang symbol the right way? The dots should be on a vertical line not horizontal. The dark part forms the lower half in most (but not all) cases that I have checked.
Yes, they were, I explain why a bit further up in the thread...Originally posted by Duke of Argyll
Umm...not to burst anyone's bubble...but were the Shi'ite and Sunni crescents switched deliberately?
Ttt, ttt, ttt...Originally posted by Mormegil
Don't think so... In my game the one with the little star innit is the Shi'ite one... which is correct...

Apart if you have changed them, I can assure you I swap them as you can see here:
So, have another look in the game

Are you sure you are not mixing up the fact that the shields those appear on your provinces are not your main religion that should only appear on your capital ?Originally posted by Mormegil
It's cause I use that on the top, but with a star
But, in my game it is the Shiite which has the start thingie... maybe I got one version before you guys changed it or something then... I've just played the Timurids/Mughals, and I know that the usual one is Sunni...
