You can model the effects of the Minister effects by adding computer techs equivalent to the minister bonus. If you have two compouter techs and a resource industrialist minister researching industrial effects (+10 and +10) you can just add two more computer techs and model the effect. Would be nice for another version to be brought out though.

Plus, it has no mod directory features, and if you attempt to use it on a mod that includes a lot of extra techs (such as CORE2) it will hang on startup, before the window appears. We could really use a new version.

I am dredging this thread up to find out from acrive players if it is worth using in version 1.3a without bugs.

If it does I want to know the best place to download the latest version of it.

I also want to know if it takes into account the penalties for researching tech before its historical date.

More importantly do you install the program from inside the HOI-2 directory, or do you install it to its own seperate program directory?

Some of us prefer to conduct our research as efficiently as possible, but Johan believes that providing the player with a time estimate is unnecessary. Therefore, I present the Hearts of Iron II Research Assistant. This program will give you a precise prediction for when a tech will be completed.

I know this post is from years ago, I wonder if this program currently exists and if so, where can I find it?

The download link doesn't work because the site has moved to another adres after the file was added. If you wan't the file you probably have to contact the webmaster of the site, chances are the file is still on the server.
