I am back to the game after more than an year and I want to start something new. So far, before the pause I played Pagan and Christian but I want to move to play Muslim / Hindu / Buddhist.
I picked a start with Ghaznavids, trying to conquer and convert India but I am not at all used with Muslim mechanics; I tried first to distribute most of my titles to avoid decadence and create some local duchies and minor dynasties.
However, I am facing revolt all the time although I was paying a lot of attention to character's and council and inevitably I am ending crushed, probably I don't know how to handle Muslim rulers.
So I wonder if anybody have tips on how to handle the region and a Muslim ruler; in fact any tip regarding Ghaznavid/India/Hindu/Buddhist/Zoroastrian/Jain and the respective region generally is most welcome.
