Tips and strategy playing Mams

For some reason I have decided to play the Mamelukes. It have procced a couple of years and Im constantly fighting the turks. It is only because my trustfull ally, Venice, that Im still alive it seems. But I do however have managed to assimilate both Nubia and Hedjaz, while defending my self from the turksmen. Do anyone else have any experience playing the Mams and if so, do any one have any great tips how to conquer the world or at least part of it?

Well for all you who is interested. I have played a while now and kicked some turkish but. Sooon they will be all mine Muhahahahahaha!

Hmmmmm. I haven't played the Mamelukes. When I play turkey, they're the first ones I take out. The only time I didn't was when Persia declared war on them first and stole my sieges. I accepted the first peace they gave, and got palestine.

I played as the Mamalukes once. I fought off the Turks until Austrian allaince declared war on them. Then I just went all out and got a few provinces from them. That is as far as I got though. I didn't know so many different religious provinces could be in one country. They have Catholic, Orthodox, Sunni, and Shi'ite. Amazing stuff but still not very fun unless you happen to be a master like Yoghurt

Thanx for your good faith in me Zalman but Im hardly a master in anything... I have just enjoyed playing games as muslim and there fore had the oppertunity to play the nations a couple of times
