The reason that the Timurid Empire has such a high BB is beacue Timur had only dies 14 year earlier. It had just finish conquering and sacking his way across most of the near east. The state BB shoudl really be higher if you had done this in EU, but I guess Paradox decided to kind to them.

They're supposed to be ripped apart - the AI is doing a good job on that :D

(Sometimes they do it a bit too good for their Mughal "comeback" to happend though...)

I can't think of others than the Timurids and Burgundy offhand.

I've played the Timurids and I while current playing Russia and completing the Time of Troubles, I'd have to say that the Timurid disintegration was more difficult for me.

Major reason is the difference in land tech values. When the Timurid event happens, you're pretty low in land tech, making those damn rebels challenging to kill.

During the Russian time of troubles, I was at land tech 17-18, helping to make rebel quashing easier, and making assaulting rebel held fortresses fairly pain free.

One potential difference though is that during the Timurid disintegration I got two unhappiness of the peasants. As I was playing with 1.04, these added revolt risks lasted longer than usual. Not so fun!

The Ottomans were just recovering after the sound thrashin ol' Timur and his boys gave them, and the following civil war where they lost control of the various Turkish tribes (Teke, Karaman, Candar, Dulkadir, Black/White Sheep?). Definitely not a BB in 1419. 1492 on the other hand...
