Time to give up on this game? Crashing, saves etc!

Im starting to think it is time to give up on this game. I wish the devs would update us on what, if anything they have planned.

Im getting bored now, my city will always progress to having Residential, Offices and some Commercial. Industry always dies when I get to 150k(ish). The city always looks square and built in blocks, no matter what I try it seems to progress to that.

Added to that my saves don't always work, meaning im doing the same thing 2-3 times. Its crashing all the time. Lots of silly thing happen, fire, police and trash not working as they should. Tourism.... well that's a joke.

It seems with all the bugs, the lack of any depth this game, for me, has come to an end.

Not sure that I have felt value for money, its been fun but quite short lived.

How does everyone else feel?

I gave up on it over a week ago.

No challenge. No depth. Too many bugs and no dev input.

I'm just waiting to hear that the crashing has actually stopped before I go back to it. Whilst it hasn't affected me yet, it probably will at some point if I continue. I learnt that the hard way by braving through Stardew Valley despite people reporting issues, until eventually one of those issues actually affected me...

A shame really, because I really enjoyed what I played. Maybe when the Xbox One X comes out it will run better.

I play a lot of games that don't crash. Those which do crash only do so occasionally - not constantly.

This is the only game I have ever had any issues with on the Xbox One, and it is a lot of issues. Games a lot more complex than this run just fine. Lazy programming, porting without fully testing is to blame. The original save issue proves that.

May I ask what size is your city? Try running a 500k city and tell me there are no issues. Running a city upto 50k usually runs fine, any more and issues begin.

Now I see they are releasing it to PS4! Fix this version first....

Trash trash trash, every aspect of this game is buggy, to top that off the dev don't give a shit about about the customer keeping them informed or anything. Also how they let everyone wait for almost two months to get a patch to fix all the corrupted data and lost time, that was not produced. Like I originally told people in this forum you can probobly expect a full game by Christmas, they just want our money that's very obveous with the lack of respect, lack of communication they are showing the community. this game was not rushed out they say, well then if that's the case then this company is ok with creating mediocre games. Good luck in the console community.

It's shame that while they invested a lot of time in optimising the controls for console, they appear to have totally failed in optimising performance.

I enjoy the game and don't regret the purchase but the number of times the game has frozen and crashed on me losing progress is pathetic. No other Xbox One game I have played has crashed on me, this one punishes you for not saving every 15 minutes.

While the corrupt saves now appear fixed, the crashes are worse than ever.
