Hello All,

This has probably come up, but I'd happily support a positive avalanche of email to Koch in support of their decision to carry the game. It could potentially accomplish a number of things:

Reinforce their decision (everyone likes to think they make good decisions).
Let them know of the crowd awaiting the release (to aid their marketing projections).
The above may just speed things up a little.
Give those waiting something useful to do.

I'm sure there are other good reasons but you get the idea. Developers are used to being yelled at by dissatisfied gamers for their 'lousy decisions'. Let's shift the trend and send some honey instead and give them a good experience for choosing EU. Who knows, they may like it enough to want to do it again.

So, if those who have the relevant email addresses would post them here, and if enough of us send *positive* messages simply thanking Koch for picking up EU, we may be pleasantly surprised.

What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea?

Dan

I believe that Crusader found the correct site to e-mail: www.kochdistribution.co.uk/

I've also e-mailed them, but it took MANY tries to get it right - USING THEIR OWN 'Contact us' list?!

kerri.davies@kochdistribution.co.uk

The above has worked for me - FINALLY!!
You can e-mail other of their staff as well, so we don't overwhelm one person.

Put the name 'first.last' in place of 'contact' and remove part of the end of the address as they show it.
Put a 'Period' between first last.

Thanks Guys,

Well, we have a plan and addresses to use to make it happen. Now all we have to do pitch in and do our part. I sent mine in just now. I included it below for those who are curious or don't know what to say. C'mon friends, here's a chance to weigh in where it may just help.

Rather Pumped Up,
Dan

Dear Ms. Davies,

I'm writing to thank you for Koch's decision to distribute an English version of the Europa Universalis computer game. I live in the US but will make every effort to obtain the UK version as soon as it becomes available. EU has addressed a long-standing and definite need in the computer gaming community and already has a rather large and enthusiastic following. In fact, I know of a number of individuals from around the world who bought the German version (even though some don't understand ten words of German) to avoid waiting a minute longer. While not quite that fanatical, I
nonetheless received the news of your decision with great joy and eagerly await the opportunity to have my own copy. Thank you for your time and for your part in getting this superb game distributed in English.

Regards,
Daniel Nelson
