Has anyone been testing this for bugs/problems?

It was tested for a couple of players, but like Uglyduck says, "However the proof of the pudding is in the eating and anyone finding a problem should report it in this thead".

Basically it is very similar to the changes that makes the eu2 unlimited patch of Moctezuma, 'theoretically' should not have problems .

Great work. That means we could have a Grand Campaign stretching from 1930 to 1950. I use this timeline in order to keep the techs/weapons, research reasonable.

Beyond this, the timelines would be even longer. The only things missing would be the techs, events, and appropriate units.

What would be nice would be an "Imperialism" type Campaign, during the 1848 to 1920 period: the building of empires, colonialism, the Boer War, the Great War, etc. . .

I'll try it out in XP

I never could get Moctezuma's patch to work. Hopefully this one works in XP. I will work on a post-WWII mod of the Cold War and the emergence of anti-colonial revolutions. A US player will be given the chance to support anti-colonial revolutionaries like Ho Chi Minh instead of rejecting them and having them go to the Russians, and see how history turns out if the US lives up to its founding ideals. :)

Go to here:-

and contact the author. He might be able to help.

Actually, the ReadMe file for the patch says it will allow gameplay from 1000AD to 2100AD (over a millennia!), so a 2010AD scenario should be possible -- unless this was a typo.

...and you scenario exceed the 2100. correct? But you should not have starting problems, the limits are 1000-2200, maybe in next versions I will change the limits. They are relative, I put these limits because from year 0 produced error :( . But theoretically the maximum limit that I could put is the year 65535 (just as the moctezuma patch)

kfoelsch, you still have to edit the scenario-file if you want anything to be changed. The patch just enables you to change start date and end date, it doesn't change anything in-game.

maybe a bug?

ok,i made the CSA,and started your mod at 1400 and watched and trained and learned and all that, but i fought no one, just wanted to see who would kill whom first when i got a demand from the US for territory,i was like erm...ok,so i exited, and took the territories i claimed for the CSA out of USAs national list.I load up as US and make sure i cant demand territory from the CSA,and then restart again as CSA,i think I got to 1600 or so before the US again demands territory of me.So apparently,if you create a country, after a few hundred years the country you took the land from wants it back

kfoelsch, ok. :) I'm also running xp and the patch works fine for me. If you say it starts in 1936, I think there is something really wrong, IIRC the game would start January 1, 1935, if do not have the patch installed and change the startdate in the .eug file to anything below 1935. Re-install patch?
