Time line/History

Is there a screen which shows the history of your events? I'd like to be able to see a timeline which shows when I entered a war, got married, declared my independence, etc...

Can't find an option to see this for the life of me...

Be a cool mod though. Take a snapshot of your game as you go, and at the end you can see all the snapshots. Or something.

The savegame files store a lot of history information so you might not even need a mod, just a C++/C#/Java/etc. utility which takes a savegame file as input and displays an animation of events such as ownership changes, wars, etc with a timeline slider.
Unfortunately the save files don't appear to store historical marriages or religious conversions however.
