Kingdom of Greece

To The Nations of Europe:

From The Government of United Greece:

A celebration and thanking of all the powers who assisted in my triumph is of course par for the course. However, there remains a great deal of resentment amongst the Greek hierarchy for the contempt shown towards our nation by certain powers that in the course of all politeness shall not be named. We then formally apologize for the sarcasm denoted by the Swede, and take umbrage and the greatest offense at the suggestion that we should be restrained by our allies. Greek history is long, and our memory at past wrongs tend to be just as long.

To the nations of Europe

The demand to tell our Greek allies that they are not allowed to show their appreciation for the help they received is absurd! Since Sweden was not one of the ones helping she should disregard the offer of thanks and any offers that come with it. We for one refuse to even give the suggestion of a quieter celebration another thought.

To the Greeks we send the warmest of congratulations and welcome the celebration. We would also like to invite them to a military conference to exchange ideas and welcome them as trade partner and a true friend.

Prussia

To the Governments of Europe:

From the office of the President of Prussia:

I would like to issue thanks to the powers of Sweden and Austria in helping hem in the Russians and their insane warmongering. I issue condolenses to all the dead of those countries.

To Austria: The Prussian people send their gratitude in helping to end the war by offerings of Italian lands. While this was not the outcome we hoped for, it seems better than not having done anything at all.

To France: The Prussian people seem to hate Napoleon III with even more disdain than his infamous uncle. We view your treachery with the utmost contempt.

To Russia: Our secrecy before the war was in order to mantain a surprise, for the amount of people you will put to the slaughter in your Hordes must be checked. Continued aggression in the Balkans will not go unchecked, for a Pan-Slavic Empire would be a benefit to no one save the royals in St. Petersburg. We fully hold Russia responsible for the some 4 million dead throughout Europe.

From the Empire of France

To the current incumbent of Prussia

The government of France does not understand where Prussia finds it acceptable to denounce the French people for an act the same as that which Prussia itself pulled against Russia. Maybe we see it wrong, but should not a nation maintain its own high moral ground before denouncing the moral ground of another nation?

To the Prussian President and his allies.

It seems to me that any country that has backed or accepted the attempts of the Prussian Governments to unify the German provinces by force should probably rethink writing blank checks to the Ottomans.

I accept that you are concerned but will give your threats no more weight than I now give your promises. The next time you dare to raise arms against the Bear be very sure that it will be a struggle that will not end so amiably. There will be reprocussions!

To the world: Because we didn’t understand how decades of peace turned into years of bloodshed, we declared neutrality in this violent struggle of nations, and although the Italians forced us into the war by attacking our allies in Austria, we hope we can but this behind us as our troops never met in battle anyway.

To Spain: Even though we had our differences in the South America conflict, i hope we can reconcile are differences and because partners in trade.

To Russia: I hope you are not greatly offended by our neutrality, we weren’t about to fight one ally for another.

To Prussia: We hope that you can repair your economy after those bloody years and we would like to help however we can.

To France: We would like to thank you for the support of the Dutch Holland movement, without your help it wouldn’t have been possible.

To Greece: We send our congratulations for your victory over the ottomans and the addition of more greek people to your kingdom.

To The Nations of Europe:

From Royal Court of King Othon:

While Greece is more fully whole, the Ottoman oppression to our peoples has resulted in catastrophic damage to once great cities. Poverty is rampant, and our nation has much to rebuild. To that end, I ask for any assistance any great power may deign to give us in the efforts to once again rebuild our once Ottoman-subjugated-overtaxed-and-now-non-existant-middle-class.

To Louis Napoleon III, Emperor of France:

From Royal Court of King Othon:

You currently guarantee the independence of Egypt, a tyrannical power that currently holds two million Greek peoples on the islands of Cyprus and Crete under their dominion. Greece must liberate our people, and we ask for French support in this endeavor. Not military support, but rather patronage in the form of an official imperial endorsement.

From the Empire of France

We will consider the plight of those Greek people's under Egyptian rule, and will get back to you shortly, (basically we can discuss that next session). We do not believe that war is called for by any party, but we are more than willing to listen to the Greek nation's ideas in resolving the difficulty.

Austrian Empire

Open letter to the princes and ministers of greater Europe:

Our historians are still working on an official report to fully explain the events of the last two years, but we find that matters of diplomatic prudence including the weakening of the peace of Geneva, cannot wait.

Our Empire and the German Confederation owes its life to our faithful allies of the President of the Prussian State and its National Assembly, and to the trustworthy King Oscar of Sweden and his government. Yet though we are stronger allies then ever, the new Emperor Francis Joseph wishes to hear all nations and promises to exercise the utmost concern for European peace. Our conservative alliance has now rejected the philosophy of Metternich, though we be sworn enemies of Marxist anarchists. We honor the valour of Italy and Greece, who won their titanic sturggle for freedom from arbitrary rule. We would like to offer great friendship to both Victor Emmanuel and his minister Cavour, as well as the people of Greece, and whomever they truly accept as their rightful King. Though Austria is a multy-ethnic nation, those within her borders are not oppressed like eastern serfs, who's autocratic master Nicholas sadly still lusts for our modest lands. Lastly, Austria knows no contempt for Napoleon III, and views the recent conflict with the Nation of France as a tragic misunderstanding. May our future with her continue to look bright indeed.

God's blessings on your houses and his wisdom be in your counsels,
In the name of our great nation of justice and civilization,
Sincerely your friend,

Austrian Minister of State - Werner Octavian VonStrauss

Empire of Russia

To the Countries of Europe and response the Austrian Empire

Peace is up to those of you that feel the need to measure and judge the power that other nations may have as compared to themselves. The fact that you were weary of what Russia was and is and that you would be willing to fight a war that would cost hundreds of thousands of lives shows your the flawed judgement that has recently ruled once great lands. When had Russia ever treated any of you with anything but honor? How many times was the voise of Russia the only voice asking for peaceful solutions as many of you turned a blind eye to internal aggressions? Who was it that consuled peaceful unification of Italy? Russia went to war to save the slavs in the Ottoman from discrimination ands oppression! You went ot war simply to hold her down!

Austria you words taste of sweet peace but cover the vileness of threats. The slavs in your lands were never consided to be in danger. Russia responded to inqueries of the AUstrian slavs and the intentions of the Bear. The response was that Austria treated her Slavs well and had nothing to fear of Russia. Trying to justify your petty actions with falsehoods the world no to be false is base and dishonorable. Russia throws your words of peace at your feet as the words of a jackal are not to be trusted anyway.

Stay your distance and peace is yours interfere or deem yourselves our judge again and war will be yours. It is your choice!

Tell the Czar that Austria-Hungary finds him not rude, but attributes the harsh tone of the last statement to translation of the terse Russian language. Yet, if it was his intention to be so, the size and might of his great Empire shields him from reproach. No response will be made to much of the letter's argument at this time, except that Russian animosity and danger can be proven by a recent official history of theirs which hints at future agression with the phrase, "someone must answer for the dead." We were alarmed at this, as we believe ourselves to be the most likely target, and felt the need to alert the courts of Europe at the Czar's likely intentions. We believe it's best to let the dead stay in the earth, and to leave alone the living as well, if possible. Such is the way of peace, which the Russians now openly disrespect.

To the Governments of Europe:

From The Newly Formed Government of Italy:

Greetings, from Rome. It has been a long and arduous journey, but the people of Italy are now unified and speak as one. We wish to ackowledge those nations that supported us and for which we owe so very much. Our government is humbled by the sacrifice of our closest allies France and Russia towards seeing all our people free.

We welcome Greece, a longtime honored friend, that has found their way. We acknowledge their claims to all greek lands and will pledge our assistance to reclaim them by any means necessary.

We also wish to point out the lack of Dutch honor for their dispicable acts during the Great European War. I hope you recognize that we noticed your serious inconsistency with regard to who you would or wouldn't go to war against. Indeed you let it be known time and again that you did not wish to fight against your benifactor the mighty Russians nor your neighbor the Honorable Prussians. Neither did you wish to offend the French or Swedes. But with regard to the Italians you chose to join the fight and backed it up with, ranting "the madness must stop" or something to that effect. Your only saving grace was your ships never approached our shores.

Sweden

From His Swedish Majesty, to the nations of Europe.

It occurs to Us that we have been remiss in thanking Our allies for their self-sacrifice. The paeans of praise for our victorious campaign in Finland have drowned out the murmur of sorrow for the hundreds of thousands of Prussian dead. Nor should Our nation forget the debt of gratitude We owe Austria for her noble act in ending the war. King Oscar, with the advice and consent of both the Swedish and Norwegian Governments, hereby proclaims a day of national mourning for the heroic dead, and swears that Our allies shall not find Us lacking, should they again require Our aid.

From a Distant land to Europe
Greetings I am the leader of the Japanese nation. I have only recently come to power but now I am in power I want to pursue an ambitious but friendly foriegn policy. I hope Japan can bring peace where there is war and hope where there is despair. I see that before my reign there has been wars amongst the nations of Europe and I despair. We need to work together and try and find peaceful solutions no matter how high our personal concerns are.
This is all, I hope the nation of Japan will be welcomed into this world dominated by pain and strife.

To the tribe of Japan

The French people seek to remind those from the "nation" of Japan that there are European matters and that there are lesser matters... When the premier nations of the world request your input about our wars or our peace then you can chime in. Until then it would probably be best if you refrain from meddling in the affairs of your betters.

Welcome neighbor. The Russians currently have a wonderful relationship with the Chinese and welcome the Japanese into the world community. It is our desire to maintain the Sino-Russian-Japanese position and borders. With regards to unsettled lands in the Oceania We bid you good fortune. In regards to European problems...they are European problems. I should hope that you will respect the concerns of Europe to stay in Europe as we will leave Asia to Asia.

To the people of Europe
I agree fully with Russia that the Sino-Russian-Japanese status quo must be maintained. However the fact that Russia is both part of Europe and Asia subsequently draws Japan into European affairs. We do not seek to 'meddle' and we wonder who is the more 'tribelike' the people of France who have been in countless wars or the peaceful people of Japan. We will acknowledge that European affairs should be solved by European nation but Europe's dominance of the world is such that these affairs could have an impact on countries outside the European border. Thus Japan will offer help when it seems needed but this help is of course optional.

From The Russian Czar
To the Country of Greece

As it has become apparent that their exists a true danger to Russian interests in your up and coming war to dominate the eastern Mediterranian, The Russians must warn of possible hostilities between our two great nations. We implore you to reconsider your plans to proceed on this adventure. If you should decide that continued manuverings in the direction of Annexation of Eygpt or any portion of their country other than Cyprus and Crete. Then Russia will be forced to cut diplomatic ties between our nations.
