How brave of Scandinavia to attack the uncivilised chinese with modern machine guns. We hope his majesty feels a lot better after using his gas weapons on soldiers armed with muskets and swords.

We call on your master Germany, whose honour is being stained by these atrocities, to put a stop to this.

Germany

Spain feels that what Scandinavia is doing is unjust. Remeber, most all of our nations are guilty of some level of imperialism, Spain being the worst offender of them all!

Germany full supports this Scandinavian action in China. There must be balance. For long has unfriendly nations ruled over Far Eastern lands. There is growing concern in Germany amongst the population of mistreatment and missuse, and there is a movement to put an end to it all by making Germany master of Asia.

This talking tires us. Scandinavia will retreat from China and sell their claims in Africa to us. Do not make the mistake thinking us as lenient as the Italians.

Hiding behind Germany won't help you, if you continue this course of action we'd still be coming for you after Germany tires of trying to invade the fortress that is Iberia.

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentation of their women, that is best in life.

To Spain:
Hypocrites. You are the most imperialistic of all our nations. You have attacked and conquered lands from all over the Americas. You have taken land from Africa, Europe and Asia. You have butchered countless Greeks for their islands, and you butchered over a million Austrian citizens who bravely defended their homeland. You have no place to criticize the Scandinavians or the Germans, like we have no place to criticize you. You say the Scandinavians are cowards for hiding behind Germany, but you would never dare attack Germany unless you had Italy or Russia to back you up.

To the world:
We're tired. We no longer wish to be rapped up in the politics of the world. The newly elected administration of the Parliament has new plans for our country. Our previous President worked to make our country strong and a great power again, but now we have a new goal. From this point on the Austrian People will now work towards isolation. We are done with the wars, and finished with the drama. Once our second Ottoman Campaign is finished we will close our Embassies and mind our business.

The Riksdag, and the People, of Scandinavia, consider that our relations with the Dragon Throne are our business, and ours alone. We will thank Spain to mind her own affairs; surely there must be some last vestige of independence that can be crushed out of South America?

To Austria

Our little war happened a decade ago and Spain has been very generous in the reimbursement for the few lives that were lost. Still you hold a grudge.

We have always only tried to bring order to the world and yet you accuse us of imperialism.

To Scandinavia

Alas only Uruguay is left. After a long relation gone bad and a lot of Spanish gold lost we decided never to put foot in that ghastly country again, not even for vengeance.

A copy of a Scandinavian history book fell into our hands today and we were shocked by the lies being told to Scandinavian children. We still have copies of letters from Scandinavian envoys telling us you were attacking Japan for coal and were taking Chineese provinces in order to force them to a white peace. Copies of these have been sent to the free newspapers in Scandinavia.

Furthermore Spain will cease the sale of her vast resources on the worldmarket. Spanish coal, iron, dye, oil and sulphur will be withheld, as we know the poor country of Scandinavia will be affected by this the hardest.

Our previous demands still stand, but in order to preserve world peace we might be willing to take compensation.

We await your offer.

Spain is behind the times. Scandinavia is entirely self-sufficient in all resources except coal, and we have never bought the inferior Spanish stuff in any case.

We have never sent a letter to you promising peace without annexations. We have received Spanish demands for such a peace, and not immediately denounced them, so much is true. Since it seems that Spain is incapable of taking a hint, we will be crystal clear in our next statements :

- Scandinavia will adjust our Chinese borders as it pleases us, and us alone.
- There will be no sale of Scandinavian citizens in Africa.
- There will be no compensation. We will not buy permission to do what is our clear right.
- If Spain wishes to test our resolve on the field of battle, we are prepared to defend our sovereignty to the last drop of blood.

To Spain:
We do not hold as much of a grudge as our message to you would lead you to believe. We appreciate the funds you sent to aid the suffering of the families who lost loved ones, and the speedy return of our lands as we demanded. We no longer wish bad relations with you, and in fact we longer wish to have a negative relationship with any Christian nation. We will be neutral in european conflicts as long as the nations of Europe allow us to be. However we give our moral and diplomatic support should we feel it neccessary. Hopefully those moments will be few and far between.

North and South New Guinea. These lands were originally to be traded to russia as part of an aggreement as they are useless to us, but as the Russian leader is missing and also our deal was broken, these two Pacific provinces are now for sale to the highest bidder.

To Scandinavia

In a small section of the garden a tiny weed spoke to the blooms that grew there. 'Why,' he asked, 'does the gardener seek to kill me? Do I not have a right to life? Are my leaves not green, as yours are? Is it too much to ask that I be allowed to grow and see the sun?'
The blooms pondered on this, and decided to ask the gardener to spare the weed. He did so.
