"Some prices are too high".... "Some prices are too low". Seriously, has anyone seen an economy where you can have plus or minus 30% inflation every month? I spend an unreasonable time adjusting prices. They fall....you lower them ...they fall ...you lower them... they fall.... You lower them. Five minutes peace and the game is suddenly telling you "Some ticket prices are too low". Now you chase them up the price range.

Rinse and repeat. It drives me nuts. In the real world prices almost never go down, so that could go for a start off. And a more reasonable, sensible rate of inflation would be an enormous bonus and much more realistic.

Prices seem to be set once per year.... in real life. (Edit: usually adjusted by +/- inflation)

Perhaps the notion of "offers" or "seasonal bargains" should be introduced, which could be set against off map "rival" firms. So that you'd need to get x% of a theoretical market share in order to balance budget or get more income. Set these too late and you miss out on y% of the market share. Set them to low and you can get z% more market share, etc... but maybe not make a profit during those months... or not enough profit to cover downturns during a game year.

One thing is sure - this is most annoying thing in this game, and devs should do something with it, especially since they had added time regulation. Now when I would like to have proper ticket prices set, I would have to do nothing but to click at prices adjustion buttons all the time. Please make it automatic, or pre defined - for example I can set prices at "allways white" level.

Definetly miss this from CiM 1 (where I had the mod Automatic Ticket Price, where you set the price level you want to use), plus the notifications are really annoying.

Dear devs! Please, give us the option to tweak economy change rate in rules editor. It's extremely irritating to have to change it every fifteen minutes. Alternatively, you could give us the ability to set all the prices to white level automatically.

Yes, I also find this really annoying! Please CO, can you fix this as it spoils the enjoyment of playing the game.

I thought i didn't understood the game well... So annoying... Not only that the prices varying too fast, but i don't know any city with a so complicated price system... 41 different prices ?! That's probably fun when someone want to buy a ticket and want to known which one is better for him spending 6 hours at the ticket window...

I think 41 prices is okay... in Zurich, the city in which I live in, there are actually much more, because our Canton (district, state)has over 50 zones. I like lots of prices with zones. But you're right, the price changing is very annoying.

That's not really a problem, if you have a single zone, you will have a flat rate that only varies between different transport types. You just line the single trip price with the 1 zone price and you will get 6 different fare types. Virtually, that is.

But still, if you take in account that in real life you not only have prices for transport types and the combinations between them(Which go way further than just a single zone/multiple zone, single transport/all transports fare rates), BUT ALSO between different companies that operate in different areas of a metropolitan area(This, assuming that there isn't a regulator like TfL), 41 fares aren't REALLY that many... Not so long ago, Lisbon, for instance, had about 200+ different monthly fare plans. And there still are way more than 100 today.

You need to keep something in mind also when thinking about the change of the price : creating/changing lines will have an effect on ticket recommended price !
