Let's just hope Wrangel drives the Red scoundrels back into the dung heaps they crawled out from.

Also, Falconette are you at all familiar with the game Iron Storm? It's an old PC shooter game, and the backstory was about an Ungern-Sternberg pastiche who creates a Russian-Mongolian Empire and decides to try to conquer Western Europe.

CHAPTER ONE: IN THE VAST STEPPES
Part VI: Empire reborn​

By the end of Septermber the army of Xibei Liangbang was absolutely destroyed and disorganized. Riots in the regiments, revolts, deserters and defeats, defeats, defeats - it made the Ma's clique doomed. On 28 of September the army of the Khan stormed the palace of Ma Fujiang and captured it. Very soon the yellow Ungern's banner started waving above the dome of the palace. The Mad Baron personally executed all members of the Ma's warlords family and ordered to destroy all high-rank Xiber army and government officials.
- This war is over, Xibei is now a part of our lands, but it will be very naive to consider this war the last one. We must crush all states that stand in our way to the glory of Mongolian Empire!
The war with Mas ended triumphantly - the country of Xibei Liangbang Yuan was no more.

The vast steppes of Eastern China were considered as ethnic Mongol lands and very soon horse patrols of Mongolian army started defending and routing the newly-created border of Mongolia.

Of course, nomadic ruthless army of the Mongol khanate couldn't behave as "civilized" Western armed forces - rapes, fires, killing and robberies were a common Mongol way to celebrate their decisive military victory and nobody wanted to stop the undisciplined soldiers.

The Mongols show what is the lost war for the locals​

Easy and fast victory and the liberation of core Mongolian lands made Ungern sure that his most ambitious plans and ideas can become reality. In the capital city of Ulan Bator he held a great military parade, which ended with one of the most unexpected events - the Buddhist theologian leader Khutughtu officially crowned Russo-German baron Roman Ungern von Sternberg as an official reincarnation of Genghis Khan, an avatar of God of War and a legitimate khagan of Mongolia and all steppes.
- Bend your knees before your Khagan! - said Ungern, - I used to be a regent of the Khan, but now I'm the emperor of Mongolia by the will of our Gods! Tengri will help me to rule, Sulde will lead my victorious armies and Borte-Chino will protect my dinasty and will give us the ages of might and prosprity!
He took a pause
- Now the Empire of Genghishids is reborn.

Ungern officially becomes the Khagan of Mongolia

First official Khagan's order was to create a new army - Southern one - under command of general Kaigorodov - one more Asiatic division officer of Russian origin. Two new cavalry divisions - the 6th and the 7th ones, were formed to defend the new border of the Empire. Their base was the city of Kashgar.

One more unit of Imperial Army​

The imperial government, however, didn't change much. Ungern gained the title of Genghis Khan II, while other ministers and military leaders kept holding their posts and offices.

But Ungen didn't want to stop his conquests. He clearly understood that any empire is alive only when it's spreading its sphere of influence. Xibei was defeated. Tibet was the next station. Mongolia didn't forget the Tibetan refuse to cooperate against the Mas.

They will pay​

On 10th of October the Tibeto-Mongolian war was officially declared. The Khagan was going to enlarge the realm.

Soon there will be no "Tibet" on the map​

The Mongol horde was ready to attack...

I was more taken aback by his sudden acquisition of a very impressive hat. I consider that a greater victory than the Ma lands
