I wonder, though... Has Walter willingly "chosen" the Destroyer.. Is he an unknowing "chess piece" (with the destroyer steering things such that..), or is he under some sort of "control" from the Destroyer (mind control or whatever) ..

I'm somewhat surprised that the Destroyer didn't take the opportunity to ..ehm.. "discourage" Cutter from escorting John any further. Say, by having a small patrol (easily defeated by Henry&friends; forcing them to move swiftly as well) stumble upon Cutter on the way back...

Interesting... Sam Cutter googling results in, among others, a link to Elfwood, a picture labeled "angels and daemons", coincidence?

I must say, Olaus' comparison to Gandalf vs. Balrog makes sense.. It'll be interesting to see how far the parallel goes.
