And another excellent change! But allow me to nitpick once again...How exactly does Japan border Russia or the Middle east? Vientiane, Delhi and Vijanagar are not exactly border provinces too...but perhaps I overlook a colony here and there.

What I am trying to say is that a lot of pp's are now spend at the Aars people wrote after the first session. Can you expect your Aar to be in the race for many pp's each time a session after your AAR is exceptional long? That sounds a bit strange to me.

The GMs really mean it. And we will take steps to punish anybody who attempts to get around it - both buyer and seller. A little in-game swap of some territory through a fake war, fine, but if we are talking about land essential for the health of nations, expect the GMs to scrutinize deals very closely.

I assign PP's for AAR's in arrears. Peter does the same for HoP entries. My assignments are therefore based on the AAR's from the 8th to 15th August. 10 points have been awarded this time because the GM's felt like it. Ok

Probably because the Mughal Empire during the last 94 years has been mostly at peace. Sure, it was involved in a few wars in the first 20 years, but after that it was peaceful.

Or perhaps it was bloody nepotism or an iron-fisted ruling from a steely-eyed GM. Who knows? Who cares? Go out there and KILL if you want MIL.

On the other hand, why did Muhammed (to pick him again) receive +1 DIP skill, when he interacted almost the least of everyone... (I assume he hasn't send much PM's since he claimed to be AFK a lot...)

Possibly because the wimpy trader has already maxed ADM and because of some diplomatic actions beyond your ken.

Now, the way the HoP points are spend does seem to be a bit strange to me. I assumed one could have a clue where the HoP pp's were spend at by reading the HoP, but now I don't understand it at all! Why has Muhammed points and Drake not, for example?

You will never know unless you are exceptionally adept at reading between the lines. Unless it can be expected to increase the number of viewers (first things come first), you should not expect the HoP to reveal who has contributed what, if anything.

If everything fails, play like a right bastard and send in any dastardly intrigues, yours or others - that really increases your odds of getting HoP points.

Yes. It is thus possible to speculate in writing short and puny AARs just before sessions that turn out to be short, and long and excellent AARs just before sessions that turn out to be exceptionally long, and to speculate in it..... If you are clairvoyant, that is.

Lacking such specialised knowledge of the future, it is advised to write good AARs each session.

Well, the inflation is low and the income did grow nicely and the Mughal Empire was even tempted to build a manufactory at some time!



I will leave the GM's alone for now, since it's obvious the lesser brothers can only guess the reasons behind some points...and try to influence them with bribes and rumours.

Well, I am not a good gambler, but in the meantime I will make sure to know when Juv95hrn is the host!

But what I intenteded to say is:
The longer a session is, the more you can write about, right? If we have, due to extremely bad luck, a very very short session of 10 years, one must have a great imagination to write an exceptional AAR...
I do expect better AARs after the last session (the one with 50+ years) then after the first, shorter, session...
Therefore, I would say it's more logically to give more pp's after the Aars are written based upon the session which was the cause of the surplus pp's...
EDIT: and my reasoning even more applies to the pp's awarded by the HoP...

But always writing a good AAR is a good idea too...as is always being a bastard for the HoP

This means that PPs have to be awarded one or two days after each session.

Alternatively, you mean something different, which includes other manipulations of time-space. It is possible.

Actually, it is much more complex than that. Unlike Wyvern's AAR points, which are solely based on AARs, HoP points are awarded based on the last HoP AND the last played session. I.e. the HoP points awarded today (Monday) is based on the play yesterday and the HoP from last week.

Unless I was just messing with your mind of course. Tell you a secret: In reality, Knowledge Man Was Not Meant To Know guides the HoP points - and you can believe that as much or as little as you will. Question the GMs, and be treated like a mushroom.
