For a long time I haven't read a set of words put togeather so nicely to sound so perfectly funny in the context.
Its not too late, but noone can protect brother sui, not even alesso. How can you protect someone from themselves? :wacko: He seems intend on wasting good gold coins on nothing, 5-6 times we seen him conquer good lands, just to let it rebel away years later... Thats just bad business, Brother Muhammed is very disapointed having such a weak brother, a wise man once said: "The weak shall perish". Surely we now know that is meant for our brother in Bengal. Muhammed would like to volenteer to teach Sui the basics of economy :rolleyes:

nah , infact the negative spell would give certain people much more reason to cast defencive spells to protect there newly formed goldmines :)

The main source of my "money wasting" (and the signifigant amount of inflation I gained) was the decades long war in India from which I gained nothing. In fact, I haven't managed, despite using all of my manpower in every "serious" war I fought, to win a single war in Asia.....

The fact that my "grand plan", namely siezing the Aztec gold by using Alexandria as a jumping off point, failed miserably as well certainly dosen't help matters.

Hmmm. Brother Red may not be as good a brother as you, which is going to be difficult.

If Brother Byk can't play I suggest we move Brother Sui to his country and merge Bengal with Delhi, since I can't lower inflation, damn naggit.

IF YOU WANT LAND, CONQUER IT!

The GMs really mean it. And we will take steps to punish anybody who attempts to get around it - both buyer and seller. A little in-game swap of some territory through a fake war, fine, but if we are talking about land essential for the health of nations, expect the GMs to scrutinize deals very closely.

Note that since none of you daring devils of destruction knew that stat changes were going to take place beforehand, the GMs have kindly decided not to reduce any stats.... This time... Though we were sorely tempted. In the future, we might. Any stat that is not exercised risks reduction.

Especially, if you stay mostly at peace for a long period of time, expect your MIL skill to take a dive. If you do not intrigue, intimidate, interrogate or interact, it is bye-bye DIP skill.


Note that SUCCESS in your endeavours is not the most important thing, it is the trying. To take a completely hypothetical example, if you build the most magnificent army or navy in the world, but stay at peace for 50 years, expect to lose 1 or 2 MIL points. On the other hand, if you fight nearly continously, even if you lose, expect to gain 1 MIL point (but do not expect to gain anything else :D)

mayby me and brunei should get orthodox/latin to , afterall we got merchants all over europe bringing new ideas to the east every day :D

edit :besides now those guys won't get any neighborsbonus to infra and trade from the rich guys if they move to different techgroup :(

10 points for AARs? I thought 5 per session...or was it 5 per 25 year? I am sorry, but I can't remember it :) I ask the same for the HoP points of course :)

Now, the way the HoP points are spend does seem to be a bit strange to me. I assumed one could have a clue where the HoP pp's were spend at by reading the HoP, but now I don't understand it at all! :D Why has Muhammed points and Drake not, for example?
Are they based on the previous session or on the first session?

I also have some questions about these skill points awards (a very nice idea by the way! Makes the game more interesting!

I assume the bonus points are based upon behaviour in the last session.
So, to quote:

Then why did the Mughal Empire receive +1 ADM instead of +1 MIL?
On the other hand, why did Muhammed (to pick him again) receive +1 DIP skill, when he interacted almost the least of everyone... (I assume he hasn't send much PM's since he claimed to be AFK a lot...)

Any stat that is not exercised risks reduction.

When will ADM be reduced? When you do not trade? Then the Mughals are in a world of hurt! :D
