Three way war

Well this is my first post (and topic while im at it ) and im just gonna ask one simple question . Is it normal for doomsday ai to declare war like a homicidial maniac . I just looking at a three way carnage going on in europe (im playng as japan) , its only 1939 and axis is at war with the allies and the soviet union , soviets are at war with allies and axis , and allies are at war with axis and the soviets . Every nation in europe is dragged into the conflict including spain,portugal,hungary,romania,bulgaria,finland and yougoslavia . I almost pissed myself when i saw this :rofl: Anyway is this normal cause i dont remember this happening in HOI 2 .

Yes , that`s prety normal . The war is a little early , but not out of the ordinary.I got the same situation only is 40`.

That's possible. Previously, any three way wars were usually due to some Winter War weirdness, or SOV racking up enormous belligerence with just its historical conquests. I have a screenshot of an old three-way, actually. You might find it interesting.

Icons? yuck. Any who, I had persia declare war on russia and the allies at the same time... they took baku but I wanted it so I declared war on them. So persia vs. Soviets, persia vs. Axis, Persia vs. Allies. woot!

OH the wonders of warfare. I also had a DD game that went the opposite when I was Brazil. The Germans DOW poland, and the allies did nothing. Japan was running around in China, but never did anything against the allies. It wasnt until I joined Japan's allience that everything triggered. Basically at that point, USA and the allies joined against Japan, and then Germany moved against everyone at the same time.

I also played a DD game where the Soviet Union DOW the Axis including Japan, and the United States DOW SU, but not axis. Anyway, these things happen, and it makes game much more fun imho.

theoritically it should be allies and soviets declaring war on iran, not the other way around.
