I'm playing as Byzantium (the Empire of Nicaea actually) during the reign of John Vatatzes.
1. The Patriarch always seems to be Catholic. That's odd.
2. Shouldn't the Byzantines have a ready casus belli against the Duchy of Athens as well?
3. During a war against the Seljuks, even though I had only claimed Sozopolis, I ended up getting very odd lands (even Antioch and Mesopotamia) due to the fact that the guy who had Sozopolis was also the leader of those areas. Is it possible to throw a Duchy out of your lands in a peaceful way?

4. My Emperor became a Muslim (?). He was converted by the Ill Khanate.
